Luxury wild flower seed mixture for clay, loam or sandy soils
My native seed mixtures are unique, so please browse through their contents by scrolling further down this page and you will see a much greater variety of species than is usually obtainable within a commercially available mix. Many of the species present, such as Orchid are not found in other seed mixtures. You will also notice the absence of any cheap ‘filler’ species within this mix.
This mix produces some stunningly beautiful wild flower landscapes, which will change in colour month by month and year to year (hence the selection of photos above). I specialise in creating these habitats and this is my unique seed combination for clay, loam and sandy soils. It contains over 40 different native wild flower species at an exceptionally high ratio of 45% wild flowers to grasses.
Once established this species rich mix will display a wide range of some of our most beautiful native wild flowers with different flowers coming into bloom from spring, through summer and well into the autumn to produce a continuous cascade of changing colour.
Due to the rarity of some of the species in this luxury mix i can only provide up to a 666sqm pack for each customer, for larger areas i suggest you make up the rest of the seed mix using my equally special ‘Economy mix for clay, loam or sandy soils’, which you can view by clicking here.
What my customers say:
Just would like to thank you for your amazing seed you supplied us in early spring, its really brightened up our once dull grass bank which was a pain in the butt to mow. The wildlife its brought into the garden is unbelievable, we have lots of bee’s species especially honey bee’s which I haven’t seen in such numbers for ages, hoverfly’s, ladybirds, butterflies, and we’ve had lots of common blues. best money spent in a long time. Thanks again Antony Taverner
